Interesting perspective; undoubtedly a great deal has changed, and information is more accessable and universially available. I collaborated with some supply chain experts I met in the semiconductor field, about 7 years ago; they live in different cities in India, and are experts in effectively deploying SAP's Sales and Operations module. I was able to dial their cell phones and speak directly to them. You are right that a great deal has changed and the determination of relative value is depentent on the individual ability to effectively deploy these technologies. The value is in the application, don't you think?
